For those who came out to our last event at Yost Theatre and the previous, our very 1st at 8eighty8..the events along with the crowd just keep getting bigger and bigger. We’d advise getting there before 10:30pm, just say you’re here for the Sacrifice & Honor show and you’ll get in for free. Thanks to the crew at 8eighty8, they have decided to open the vodka bar for all who drink, the vodka bar will be open until 10:00pm. If you do decide to drink, please drink responsibly. Olympia Weekend 2011

Olympia Weekend was just a few weeks ago and it was our first time at The Olympia with a booth. After a few months of preparation for the event, the time to roll out to Vegas had finally arrived. We packed the tour van full of merch and loaded up the crew. After arriving in Vegas at around 3:00pm on Thursday we hit the Las Vegas Convention Center where the Expo was being held. All exhibitors needed to check in that day and pick up their badges, so after doing that we started setting up shop at our booth. Shortly after prepping the booth for Friday morning we all headed back to the Hotel for a meal and some rest..but not before hitting a training session with the crew before calling it a night! Friday morning came quick and we headed over to the Expo at about 7:00am since the doors opened up for VIP at 9:30am. We were ready to go about 8:30am so we had a little time to walk around and chat with some of the other exhibitors and athletes. 9:30am hit and the doors opened up. We had 3 tables full of free stickers, leather key chains and wrist bands..all free and by 1:00 our limit for that day had run out so we dug into Saturday’s supply. Men’s and women’s t’s and tanks were all for sale at 20.00 each along with drawstring bags. Customers from China, Australia and various states here in the US came by the booth in support of Sacrifice & Honor, it was great meeting so many people. Sacrifice & Honor Athlete Lindsay Kaye was at the booth all day helping out and taking pictures with fans, she was also competing in the Bikini Division at the O, which she did very well in and looked as solid as ever! Congratulations to Lindsay! Between the conversing and constant running around we realized during the craziness we had a giveaway to do, it was 3:00pm. Earlier we had left out a sign up sheet for people interested in sales or special deal alerts, so we’d have them sign up and give them a raffle ticket for the giveaway at 3:00. We ended up raffling 6 shirts and a few drawstring bags, it was a great turnout! The end of the day came shortly after that and it was time to pack up and hit the hotel for some rest and a meal. After the crew took a 4 hour nap we all rolled out to dinner then headed to a night out at Tao in the Venetian, where good times were had. After a few hours of sleep it was back to the Convention Center to set up for Saturday’s Expo, we walked up to Sacrifice & Honor Athlete and IFBB Pro Mike Van Wyck hanging out at the booth with some of the crew who had made it there earlier. Mike, about 6’2”/300lbs looked incredible and looking to do damage real soon on stage, details as to when Mike will be competing next will be posted up shortly. Doors opened up about 10:00am and it was back to business. At around 12:00pm Sacrifice & Honor Athlete and IFBB Pro Frank McGrath showed up at the Expo and was looking as shredded as ever after competing in the Olympia, where he did an incredible job, a huge congrats to Frank as well! It was great seeing Frank and getting to chat with him a little. The last day of the Expo went by very quick, we decided to do another giveaway at 3:00pm where another 6 shirts and a few bags were giveaway to those whose numbers were called, it was a frenzy! Our boy, White Lightning.. the man in charge of the raffle, needed to scream at the top of his lungs so everyone could hear! It was a great day and it flew by real quick! Before the day ended, Sacrifice & Honor Athlete and IFBB Pro Jeff Long came by the booth for a bit and hung out. Jeff, one of the biggest up and coming stars in the bodybuilding world is honestly one of the most humble and down to earth dudes out there, we are honored to have him on the team and it was great catching up with him. 5:00pm came out of nowhere and it was time to wrap up. We packed up the van, packed up the crew and headed over to the hotel where another 4 hour nap was taken. After waking up around 10:00pm, we got word we were invited to Club XS..this was where Mr. Olympia, IFBB Pro Phil Heath was having his party. Everyone was beyond excited and amped up to go! The crew got ready and headed out. Once arriving at XS, the likes of Phil Heath, Dorian Yates, Ronnie Coleman and many others could be seen having a great time in the club. It was an honor to not only get to shake these legends hands but to chat with them a little bit as well, it was an incredible night! All in all, Olympia Weekend was a success and all of us at Sacrifice & Honor want to truly thank all of you for your support, we can’t wait till Olympia Weekend 2012!

Olympia Weekend 2011

The Olympia is just 2 weeks away and is something we at Sacrifice & Honor have been looking forward to for months now. The “O” is the world’s biggest bodybuilding competition and exposition when it comes to the bodybuilding\fitness world. The best of the best will be competing. IFBB Pro Jay Cutler will be defending his reign against IFBB Pro and good friend Phil Heath among many others climbing the ranks quickly. One of our own, NPC Bikini Competitor and International Fitness Model Lindsay Kaye will also be competing in this years competition. She recently placed 3rd in her last comp and is ready to take the win in 2 weeks, training and dieting harder than she ever has. The exposition includes over a hundred booths from companies providing supplements to equipment to clothing. There are also seminars from some of the best in the biz, professional bodybuilders to professional MMA fighters etc. There are also many celebrities who have known to show up every year. Be sure to come by booth 1120 to meet the family and pick up some gear! See you in Vegas!

Yost Theatre 8-27-11

This past Saturday we had a show at Yost Theatre, Orange County’s newest venue! Opening it’s doors mid July, Yost Theatre had been talked about month’s ago as word of mouth quickly spread that this place was going to be one of the greatest venue’s\clubs in Orange County. 3 weeks prior to the show, we were invited to showcase our gear on stage in front of hundreds of people. Thanks to the amazing family that is Sacrifice & Honor, the show went extremely well and the team of models and hosts brought it that night. It was an incredible night full of music, giveaways and an overall awesome time. The turnout packed Yost Theatre wall to wall! Rock The Mansion @ The Playboy Mansion 8-27-11

This past Saturday Sacrifice & Honor had 2 big events going on, one at The Playboy Mansion (which we were honored to have been asked to be a part of as a sponsor) and another at one of Orange County’s newest and amazing venue’s, The Yost Theatre. We were asked a month in advance to take part in Playboy’s “Rock The Mansion” party, known as THE party of the year as a sponsor for the event, 150 pieces of gear along with our new drawstring bags were given away that night. It also happened to be Fight Night, where a ring was put in the middle of the lawn out front of the mansion and 8 professional MMA fights were held. After the fights went down, heavy metal sensation “Steel Panther” rocked the stage and brought back the metal of the 80′s, playing a 12 song set where the likes of Corey Feldman, Dane Cook, Playboy Playmate Bridget Marquardt amongst several other Playboy Playmates and celebrities from the 80′s and today could be seen banging there heads in the crowd! Shortly after, DJ Sasha Grey took the stage and spun for the rest of the night, supplying some dub-tech music to everyone at the mansion. Some video from Steel Panther’s performance will be posted shortly on our FB page and we’ll be sure to throw up a link once the pics are up! Once again we’re honored to have been asked to take part in such an incredibly epic night and hope to work more with Playboy!

ALFA Fight 8-20-11

The ALFA\BAMMA Fights were Saturday, 8-20 and the Total MMA Studios\Sacrifice & Honor family were all there to support our boy Edgar Gonzalez in his debut fight. After weeks and weeks of training hard with coach Juliano Prado, co-owner of Total MMA Studios and Brazilian Top Team Member, Edgar was ready to take this..and he did. Within 20 seconds in the first round Edgar won his debut fight with some ground and pound after taking his opponent down. A huge congratulations goes out to Edgar! Next up, 3 more members from the family will be fighting Saturday, September 10th. We’ll be sure to post up the flyerevent details shortly.

8Eighty8 7-15-11

We had our very 1st party\show on the 15th at 8Eighty8 in Newport Beach, CA which was the debut of our newly released women’s line. The doors opened at 9 and by 10:30 the place was packed, the turnout was incredible. Live music, a DJ and an incredible team of models, make-up artists and hair stylists did an amazing job. The models got up on stage about 11:00 and did their thing! 35 pieces of gear were given away to the crowd that night..so next time be sure to bring a tall friend or 2 to score some gear!
